Mercury Improv classes are designed specifically for people who don’t consider themselves to be performers, which makes them ideal additions to parties, vacation trips, or other gatherings with friends.

Our basic introductory class runs from 45 minutes to an hour (depending on the number of people) and is a fast, fun, low-pressure, low-stakes introduction to the principles of improv. We don’t play any improv scenes and everyone’s doing the same (usually silly) things, so even anxious nonperformers have a chance to relax and have fun.

And we can also create a custom class based on your specific requirements. Some examples might include:

  • A character development workshop for your D&D campaign

  • A class focused on “yes-and” for your professional support group

  • A literary-themed class as an icebreaker for your new book club

The ideal number of participants is between 6 and 12, though there’s some leeway in either direction.
